New Ford Mustang Mach-E first sales start in Europe and not in the US

The head of marketing strategy in Ford's electrification division, Jason Mase, told the Mach-E Club at the Chicago auto show that the new electric crossover will first reach customers in Europe, and the Nordic countries will be the first to receive it. This is a decision that is not at all surprising, given that in Norway, almost 50% of the cars registered in 2019 were electric and hybrid.
In addition, the European market is more open to switching to a zero-emission movement than the American market, justifies the decision of the Michigan manufacturer.

Ford is delaying the launch of the highest-performance version of the Mustang Mach-E GT with 465 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque, equipped with a 98.8 kWh battery. This version will arrive at the showroom next spring. The American manufacturer revealed last year that 30 percent of customers reserved the top version.
